    • Classic Rock, Indie, Pop, Soul and more are all a part of the show, and the guys are more than happy to put together a set list that suit your musical tastes. They’ll even learn your first dance!

DISCLAIMER: If you wake up the morning after a Fever Pitch gig with aching feet and hazy memories of crazy dance floor antics, the guys can not be held responsible for any social media shame you may experience.

We perform up to 2 hours of classic and contemporary live band music which can be split into 2 x 1 hour sets, 3 x 40 minutes, or just about any other permutation you can think of. All of the music played will be upbeat, instantly recognisable and dance floor friendly. The guys are totally happy to receive input you’d like to give regarding song requests (including your first dance). Why not ask your guests to suggest a song for the band to play when you send out your RSVPs? What a good idea!

Our venue is quite small! How much space will the band take up? One of the advantages of hiring us is that we are able to set up in spaces considered too small for larger events bands. Anything from 15ft x 8ft upwards will suit us, and we don’t need a stage (though if your venue provides one we’ll happily set up on it).

Can you suggest timings for the evening? We can, though this is dependent on what time you are sitting for your wedding breakfast, what time your evening guests are arriving, what time your evening food is being served, etc. Here’s what we advise: don’t stress out too much about timings. Even if your day is running an hour or more late, there’s usually plenty of time for us to play two hours of live band music, plus DJ music. Relax; enjoy yourselves.

Can I pick songs the band will play? We value the input of anyone we play to, so absolutely! Given that our repertoire runs to over 250 songs, it’s probably best to think about around ten songs you’d like to hear, plus any DJ songs (and not forgetting songs you’d prefer not to hear) to give us a flavour of your tastes, and we’ll do our best to include them on the night.

How far will you travel? Though we are based in the West Midlands, we’re happy to perform throughout England and Wales and also internationally via special request.

Will you learn our favourite song? You bet! We regularly learn special requests at no extra charge. This can be a popular song or a song specific to your evening. As professional entertainers we pride ourselves on being able to learn a wide variety of songs, including requests you may not expect a live band to perform! Once you have hired us, just ask!

What will the band sound like? The music samples you can hear are a true reflection of our sound. We’re 100% live - don’t use cheesy backing tracks or autotuning. With more than one vocalist in the band we’re able to create a very full sound. We also utilise modern guitar pedal technology to achieve an amazingly varied texture of music.

Are you able to DJ in between sets? Not a problem. We provide a manned DJ service as standard. All of our DJ music is beatmatched and crossfaded, just like a professional DJ, and uses our sound and lighting system for full effect. With around 20,000 songs to choose from, almost any request can be played.

Can we make song requests in advance? Yes indeed. If you’d like us to learn some songs, make sure to give us at least six weeks notice – we’re a busy band!

May we use your sound system for the wedding breakfast and speeches? You’re welcome to use our sound system and microphone for speeches and announcements throughout the night. For an additional charge we will arrive early, set up our sound system and provide a microphone especially for your speeches. For wedding receptions, we can even provide background music for your meal.

Do I have to provide any equipment for you? As long as we have access to a performance area and a power point, we’re all good. Our top-of-the-range equipment is suitable for events of up to 1000 guests and is perfect for anything from small venues and marquees through to conference rooms and town halls. We provide all backline (instruments, amplifiers, drum kit), microphones and monitors for the band, and a sound system featuring top and sub speakers for maximum clarity. All of the equipment is compact so that your guests will have plenty or room to dance.

Fever Pitch - Reviews

  • Alan and Katrina - wedding reception, Inglewood manor, Cheshire

“What an EPIC band and a great group of people! The wedding music is either an easy decision or quite frankly a complete nightmare for some. Being a musician myself, I found it difficult to decide between a number of excellent choices of bands. But having followed not only their professional videos, but those recorded on phones in numerous events, the Fever pitch Band were the clear winners. They play all the hits as expected, ranging from the 60's to the present day, but their versatility was one of the biggest highlights for us. Our key song choices were of course included in their set, but being thoroughbred musicians, this band is able to interchange instruments and vocals among each other for whoever best suits a particular song. That's some impressive stuff! We cannot recommend this band highly enough for any occasion (especially weddings!). Their performance was of course the highlight of the day, but the communication between customer and manager for months prior the big day was equally as impressive. They were clear and concise, and prompt in answering all questions asked. All requests were honoured without question and the level of rapport and trust continued to build with every message. The only negative I can think of is that the experience has now ended....and maybe when they allowed my wife to sing! (Sorry dear!)

Thanks again guys, you really made our day all the richer and we hope to see you again in some other event.”

  • Kathryn and Pete - wedding reception, Arley House, West Midlands

“Thank you so much for performing at our wedding last weekend. You were amazing! You played everything we asked for and people were on the dance floor until the bitter end!! Great band for weddings, parties, any functions really. Huge repertoire and will happily learn new songs if requested. Thanks again.”

  • Katherine - summer ball, Toft Cricket Club, Cheshire

“Fever Pitch Band were absolutely amazing at our Summer Ball!  They had everyone dancing all night with a fantastic line up of floor fillers!  We've already booked them for next year!  The guys were friendly and helpful - highly recommend!”

  • Nicola and Dan - wedding reception, Whatton House, Leicestershire

“Fever Pitch were just incredible at our wedding in September 2021. They sounded amazing, had everyone dancing, with loads of charisma and energy all night. They were also super friendly and professional. Our first dance song was especially perfect - we were worried as we love the vocals on the original, but they made it sound so good that i preferred their version! One of our wedding guests has even booked them for their summer wedding in 2022!! Can’t say more than that! Thank you Fever Pitch for rounding off our wedding in style.”

  • Richard - Braxted Park, Essex

“An absolutely fantastic band! Easy to deal with when booking, an easy rider to provide for them as well. Simply great musicians and people all round.I have used them for my daughter's wedding and a charity ball too. They never fail to deliver a great night!”

  • Lucy - birthday party, Saddlers’ Brewhouse, West Midlands

“I hired Fever Pitch to play at my husbands surprise 40th birthday party. I can’t recommend the band enough, nothing was too much trouble ( they even dressed up as Peaky Blinders in keeping with the theme of the party). They read the room and knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor, I’ve had so many positive comments about the band from the party guests and I can honestly say I would hire them again in a heart beat!”

  • Nick and Kay - wedding reception, The Oak Tree of Peover, Cheshire

“Fever Pitch were our wedding band, and they were absolutely fantastic. They turned up on time, set up quickly and unobtrusively, then played 2 fantastic sets and DJ sets in between. They read the room perfectly and kept everyone dancing all night. Couldn't have asked for more from them and we highly recommend them to anyone thinking of hiring them.”

  • Lynsey and Ryan - wedding reception, Hazlewood Castle, Yorkshire

“The band played at our wedding on 23rd December and were absolutely brilliant. We had a great night - many thanks to all.”

  • Beverley - birthday party, Rotherham golf club, Yorkshire

“An amazing band that made our party great.  You managed to please a crowd aged from 3 to 60. Thank you so much.”

  • David and Rachel – wedding reception, Woodhall Manor, Suffolk

“Fever Pitch rocked at our wedding at Woodhall Manor in Suffolk! From the moment we found them we knew they'd be perfect for us, playing a variety of songs and making sure our guests had the time of their lives - and performed our first dance song exactly as we wanted. Such a talented, talented band!”

  • Claire – wedding reception, Inkersall Grange Farm, Nottinghamshire

“What a fantastic band. Played at our daughter and son in laws wedding and provided a brilliant evening. Everyone was joining in the dancing and singing to a great play list. Totally made the evening special can highly recommend these guys.”

  • Matt and Kayleigh – wedding reception, Donington Park Farmhouse, Derbyshire

“Fever Pitch played at our wedding in August 2021. During the booking process they were very professional, fast to reply, and answered all our questions. On the day they arrived on time and played a fantastic set, including our choice of first dance and lots of our requests. I would highly recommend them for a wedding or any other event”

  • Lucy and Chris - wedding reception, Burrow Farm Gardens, Devon

“We booked Fever Pitch as our wedding band this July and they were amazing from the moment we spoke with them. The guys are SO talented and lovely we couldn’t wait to have them play. We paid upfront because we wanted to and felt we could trust them, and they advised us on what music they could play PLUS learned two new songs for us. They were AMAZING on the night… we were blown away. So friendly, funny on mic when getting us to cut the cake etc and every single song was a corker! The way the guitarist played to Dancing in the Moonlight will stay pencilled in my memory forever- so wonderful. Everyone that came to our reception was BLOWN AWAY by the music and everyone was up dancing - even our elderly grandparents! Thank you so much. Would recommend a million times over.”

  • Ryan and Chris – wedding reception, Oak Tree Farm Weddings, Nottinghamshire

“Was lucky enough to have these gents play at our wedding very short notice recently. Tore the roof off the place, great energy and had everyone up and dancing with a massive playlist and plenty of musical range. Do yourself a favour and get them booked. Thanks again guys!”

  • Liam and Victoria – wedding reception, Gorcott Hall, Worcestershire

“The band were fantastic last night, excellent all round and they really did a great job, we loved it! They helped to make the night the success it was with great song choices, professionalism, easy demeanour, and importantly great sound. I would recommend Fever Pitch to anyone without hesitation.”

  • Lucy and Chris – wedding reception, Burrow Farm Gardens

“The music was incredible and everything we’d hoped for. You guys are amazing! Everyone had the best night thanks to you - we are eternally grateful.”

  • Kay and Andrew – wedding reception, Coombe Lodge, Somerset

“Brilliant band and 100% recommend!!! We had them for our wedding in Somerset. Great communication, played all of the type of music we requested, they got everyone up dancing (and laughing with their sense of humour) and it was all done in a professional way. Hope one of our friends uses them in the future so we get to see them again. A big thanks guys! Love, the new Mr and Mrs Powell xxx”

  • Steve – Christmas party, Marquis of Westminster, London

Fever Pitch band have been doing our Christmas parties for a number of years and they always go down a storm. They really get the crowd going and everyone really enjoys them - looking forward to booking them again this year!

  • Ian and Laura – wedding reception, Prescott Hill, Gloucestershire

We hired Fever Pitch for our wedding after seeing them play at a friend's wedding about 5 years ago. Needless to say, we were not disappointed as these guys have really kept their edge, and from start to finish these guys were incredibly professional, really making our reception rock! The music was perfect for our party (including the impromptu instrumental played whilst the bride and bridesmaids did their thing!), and had everyone up and dancing the night away. The guys kept going right up till the end, and were just excellent throughout. Real quality musicians! Would highly recommend, and hope to see you no doubt at other friends weddings in the future :-)
